Since experience_architectureis now
being absorbed into the ever growing
global market economy generated by
International Capital, it is perhaps
time to re-assess and question the
nature and role of experience_architecture
within the context of a tradition that has
not completely forgotten the memory of the
question of Being.

The ontological dimension invoked here is
that of a monad or an incomplete totality
of experience, which could be also described
as an inconsistent multiplicity or a
singularity that is nonetheless endowed with
a symbiotic economy similar to that of a
transluscent jungle. The resulting paradox
seems to lie in the contradictory
juxtaposition of the shimmering but nocturnal
desert of THIS PARTICULAR SPACE [27 march
2003] in relation to the multiplicitous and
chaotic configurations of the transluscent
jungle. This does not attempt to resolve
this paradox but instead heighten
the tension by situating the transluscent
Jungle within the transluscent Desert, not
as an oasis, but as a virtualization of
the invisibility of the transluscent Jungle
of multiplicity within the Desert of
nothingness.
